Glenavy Development Partnership, like many community groups, runs on a voluntary basis. Local people coming together to add to our community. Our motto is "Your community working together".

You can follow our regular events

Every year we hold a festival week during the summer with a range of events for all memnbers of ther community. As Christmas approaches we hold a switching on of the tree lights, which offers presents delivered by Santa and mulled wine to warm waiting parents. A Christmas Carol service is also a regular event. A social event is held for the elderly early in the new year.

Keep informed about local issues

We also work throughout the year to improve Glenavy and address concerns raised by local people. We have recently distrubuted a questionnaire to find out more about what the local people of Glenavy want for their community,

The Committee

Sylvia Price is our current Chair and Henry Phillips is our Treasurer. There are 10 others on the committee and new members are always welcome. It's fun.
