2014 Christmas Celebrations
The lights on Glenavy's Christmas tree were switched on to the cheers of many on December. Glenavy Development Partnership welcomed Councillor Andrew Ewing, Mayor of Lisburn City Council, who thanked Ballymacrickett Primary School choir for singing Christmas Carols and counted down the turning on of the festive lights. The crowds then moved onto to visit Santa in his Grotto and to join in with the craft activities such as icing of buns in the nearby Church Hall or enjoy the partybus.
